Going, going, GONE (part I)

In a few days I will be leaving my lovely house for a couple of days to go to DENVER! Now, I wish I could say that I'm doing something awesome while I'm there, like going to the CONVENTION... but no. I'm helping my big sis move into her apartment in Denver... and we will be in the lovely city for about 24 hours... LAME. We will be gone by the time that the convention starts on Monday morning... and I will be back at work. It's really too bad that we planned this trip so poorly... but I guess it will be cool to see the apartment & hang out for a day in Denver!

A few other things to note... since it's maintenance week(s) at the pool, I have been CLEANING a lot lately... on Monday I got to clean lockers & stainless steel all day while yesterday I got to clean tiles in the therapy pool locker room & some more stainless steel! Oh man, that was fun (not...). In addition to those, I got to clean out my bowels last night. I cannot begin to tell you how EXCITING that was... NOT. I think I'm going to go back to bed soon so that I don't have to think about how hungry I am before my stupid procedure at 3 PM today... I mean, who schedules a colonoscopy, which requires fasting, FOR THREE IN THE AFTERNOON??? Whatever. That just means that I get to actually nap today... :D

And lastly, I am SUPER STOKED about going to AUSTRIA! My mom finally picked up my travel guide yesterday, so now I'm reading about all sorts of exciting places that I get to go! :) I'm pretty much set as far as things that I need to take with me... I just need to cut it down to less than 50 lbs. so that I can take it all with me! That has been the hard part, along with finding something to pack in... the bag that Lisa & Mom think that I should take seems to be tooooooo big so I will probably overpack it... so I'm going to see if I can find something a little bit smaller & a little bit lighter... that will help a lot... we will see though.

Well, in 30 (ish) hours I'm off to Denver! :)
